Default Clutch Release Bearings - differences?

Are there different release bearings available on the market, I've come across several with hairline fractures and / or bent guide fingers. but they all seem to be the same standard spec.
Just wondering if you can get heavy duty versions ?

Cheers

Never seen a 'heavy duty' one. It's a pretty robust bit of kit in standard form.

I always thought that STi ones were 'heavy duty', but the one I bought from Roger Clark looked normal, wasn't a Subaru part and has been fine for 3 years on an AP Organic.
Heavy duty can only be a bigger ball race or thicker steel for the fork location?
Graham.

Yes, take the point David.
RCM said much the same. The one they sold me looked very aftermarket, but they were confident all would be well, and so it has been.

Totally off topic, so sorry everyone, but do you remember the sports cat I bought off you David: do you know the rating of it?

ie 100 cell, 200/300 etc?

Graham.

No, but it is back on the car now and seems ok.
I am thinking of buying the new TSL sport cat @ 100 rating on eb@y for £400 all-in. That is a good price for a 100 cell , but its not a 3'' all the way through system, it necks down to 2.5''
Thanks for coming back though!
Graham.
