Is this mod going to be worth the effort?
Take this sports cat downpipe and cut/weld it to an open neck design.

I am assuming that the pictured d/p is restrictive, but to be honest I did not notice any real difference between these two:

The engine is a modified 2 litre which gave a 407 bhp result with the de-cat 'semi open neck' d/p.
Never got the chance to RR the sports cat as shown.
Any comments appreciated.

don't think it would be worth the hassle to be honest as i would think the benefits would be negligible, the biggest restriction is going to be the cat.
if it was mine i would leave the twin dump on the cat pipe and get some money back for the open neck
