Default Driveshaft and CV Joint Compatability

Are all driveshafts and CV joints compatable throughout all classic turbo's i.e can a driveshaft from a MY93 WRX import fit a MY00 UK turbo?

???AFAIK,all subaru classics with ABS (inc legacy)have the ABS ring bolted to the hub...???

I have sold a shaft from a my 93 to a person with a my99 and fitted a legacy tt my95 shaft to a wrx my98 without problems..

Just a little curious...I know that the design of the pre 97 model cv joints do vary from post97,but they do interchange.....dont they?

they do interchange (as in fit) but the systems work in two different ways.............

ABS ring is on the hub on early cars and on the shaft on later cars

When you say "early cars" do you mean classics- My ABS is on the hub and its a MY99

So even though they are different they all fit with no trouble- is that right?
