Red face Help please Exhaust port colours dont match

I have posted another thread 'Help fuel problem' as I did it from somewhere I couldn't upload pictures.

The 2 pics here show the different colours of the ports with the exhaust manifolds removed. There is a big difference and it is side to side.

Anyone got any ideas what might be at fault - injectors - fuel pump - ECU ? Car is a 97 UK Turbo, K&N air filter and a recent fuel filter change. 98K miles.

It seems to me 1 side may be compensating for the other being too rich / lean - but which is at fault and what are the causes.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Thanks
Clint
