Red face Need help with blow off valve

When i accelerate from first gear, my blow off valve activates at 5 and half thousand rpm and sometimes causes the engine to stall temporarily. This sometimes continues in the rest of the gears and then suddenly the problem dissapears. Have just fitted a blow off valve-could this be the problem with my 93 wrx?

if your Paul...............then i would guess that your electronic boost controller is allowing "over-boost" as discussed, doubt its anything to do with the d/valve.......
