and if so by how much??

you need either an sti 7/8 prop or yours shortend, there is a couple of props on ebay at the moment. it cost me £70 to get mine shortened

Steve. Are you fitting a 6spd to your Legacy ??

If so, source a Legacy automatic propshaft. Its a straight swap.

Same applies though to Impreza. Automatic propshaft is a straight swap for use with 6 speed.
