Default engine rebuild

when i get my next car im going to uprate the engine, im going to stay with the 2ltr and it will be using the sti's semi closed deck block. which is a good way to make this engine stronger and what sort of costs am i looking at??? i was hoping £2k would do it but would i need more

depends on how far your going power wise......................the new-age cars seem very happy to run towards 400bhp on std internals.............

i want it to go to 500bhp but would like to know the boost can be turned up without fear of engine damage . even my car is capable of 400bhp

plus im considering adding NOS
