Exedy or AP Organics clutch? And why please!
As per title, would you fit an Exedy or an AP Organic?
Car is an MY03 WRX currently 268 bhp, but hoping to mod further to a maximum 330 bhp. (well i say maximum now, but you know how it is!) LOL.
Thanks for all advice.
Also, can you recommend places for the fitting of the above?

ID get the exedy over the AP.....purely because its rpetty much the same thing! and the exedy will be a fair whack cheaper...the plates are made for AP by exedy anyway, i think the only thing AP do is the clutch housing and put an AP sticker on it....

I would see how you go on your original clutch as it is not particularly more likely to pack in at that level than your original gearbox. My original clutch held a TD05 at 1.7 bar whilst drag racing, and it already had 25000 miles on it. It still held a 20G at 406 BHP and 1.8 bar. Third gear stripped within a week of running the TD05 at only 1.5 bar.

The AP plate is totally different to the exedy one. Regardless of who makes what for who, the spec is what matters, and the AP is superior IMHO for higher torque applications, despite being more prone to judder.
