I know exactly how you feel, the same happened when I did mine!
Taking out the two studs at the bottom could help (just tighten two nuts together on the stud and then remove). I replaced mine with bolts after.

Look on the N/S of the gearbox at the top and there is a large 'grub screw' type cover which you need to remove with a 10mm allen key. Once this has been removed you will see the end of a metal bar with an M4 thread in it. Use large washers to block the hole and fit an M4 bolt down there and tighten it to pull out the metal bar. The clutch arm (?) can then be removed and it should all separate.

Once you have done that, pour gallons of penetrating fluid between the box and the block and then get a very fine screwdriver and gently hammer it between the two. When a gap opens up stick a pry bar in there and repeat on the other side. Gradually lever the two apart.

Being alloy they just weld themselves together. I put some copperslip between them when I put it back together.

Good luck!
