Question Cold air mod chips?

Has anyone fitted one of these cold air mod chips that fit onto your MAF sensor connector and supposedly give you a extra 25bhp!?

Do they work? It’s supposed to fit on the signal wires (according to the vague instructions!) which I think are Pin 4 – Blue wire & Pin 5 – Green wire on the MAF sensor connector, but when I’ve connected it to these on MY00 the Check Engine light stays on on the dash and the car wont boost or accelerate and just coughs and splitters!

I’m I doing something wrong or do they just not work?

Cheers,

Chris

If only it were that simple !! Consider yourself one lucky Christopher. Find some other poor chump to sell it to, preferably not a Subaru owner but some chav with a Nova'd be my choice.
