Post Cold air vent to turbo.

One of the cars at the NBO (may have been the car of the day IIRC) had a vent next to the intercooler which fed cold air from the bonnet scoop down onto the turbo.

1. What's the correct name for it?

2. Where can you get them and how much?

3. what are the Pro's & Cons of these?

ta in advance.

I think the earlier cars (pre 96?) had these, i dont think it was as efficient as say a splitter as you didnt really get that much air going onto the turbo, probably the reason they binned that idea
If i can remember correctly, the (looking from the front) bonnet scoop on the left had one part allocated just for this, which fed the air down onto the turbo?

My MY00 still has the small vents where you mention, shame they didn't decide to give it a bigger IC when they decided to ditch the cold air feed.

I didn't put it back on after I decatted it. I then wrapped the turbo with heat resitant blanket
