You already have a dumpvalve on your car.

I'm just saying that I went down the same route 1 year ago.. and fitted a turbo xs vta. Yes, loved the noise, but the car ran like a bag of poo! Basically, the car became very jerky, just a slight dab on the throttle would cause the scoob to jump foward, and the same applied when lifting off.
And yes, I did get the pops and bangs, along with lower mpg and the good old bore wash.

I re-fitted the subaru dumpvalve, problems solved. You have to appreciate the r&d that goes into these cars.

A VTA will make your gear changes louder, but may also make it a bit unpleasent to drive.

Just being honest, grrr.

Instead of spending loads of cash on something that will make your car run badly, you could just remove the resonator in the wing. I did it recently to my new-age and I can now hear both induction and dumpvalve whoosh, as well as the car running slightly cooler.

Look HERE

Wink

Suggest you go for a brake upgrade at the same time - a VTA dump valve will make your car considerably quicker....hold on tight....
