Question Checking Gearbox Oil Level

Do you check it HOT or COLD??

After a run or overnight??

Nothing in the Owners Handbook about this at all (and if it is, I can't find it!)

How much fluid between the 2 marks? It takes a huge 4 litres I understand??

Pete

Honestly Pete what do you expect. Any advice you get given you nearly always attempt to disprove or suggest it's ****. You wonder why you won't get a serious answer.

Even if we told you you'd only top it up with the cheapest gearbox oil you could find in Halfrauds.
