Question Clutch pedal springs up at the top!

My clutch pedal sometimes feels a bit weird. After realeasing the pedal, at the end of it's travel, it feels like it pops up a little further, like it's catching in the tread of my trainer or something! Im sure it isnt. Is there an adjustment on the spring. Has anyone else had this????

there is a rod that goes into the master cylinder, if you stand on your head in the foot well you will see it.. there is a lock nut and a small slot in the rod.. take up a little bit of the slack in the pedal which you can feel with your hand before it actually does anything.. not too much else it will move the biting point too far..
