hi all,
i have a 95 uk turbo which had a short shifter already on when i bought it, and all the gears are selectable fine, but when shifting from 4th to 5th at high revs there is a slight crunch. any ideas what this is?

sounds like either 5th gear syncro or the nut is comming adrift its a piece of cake to do insitue

 

which nut? had a quick look but not sure what for! :~)
