Question Gearbox and diff question

I had a replacement sti6 box with 4.4 diffs put in my car along with a 4.4 R160 rear diff. My question is because the R160 diff is smaller than the R180 diff on the sti6 then is this damaging anything running them together?

Thanks
Stuart

doesn't damage anything as long as they are matched (as you have), however the R160 is not as strong with a 4.44 so something to watch in the future, possibly..............

wouldn't worry about it at the mo'
