gearbox fault??

i looked at a scooby yesturday an was all good except when reverse was selected there was sometime a crunch even tho clutch was all way down. any ideas? is it serious?. thanx

Alot of scoobys do this, imho, well the ones i have owened, and driven. but mainly when the car is cold,

could be low on oil did you check the level?

no synchro on reverse, so as above its a common thing........as long as its not stupidly graunching
