Default Bigger turbo..More Power

It has been suggested to me to change the turbo on my 02 WRX for a jap inport 03 STI turbo. has anyone done this and what kind of gains could i expect.

Is there a difference in size for the inport sti turbo to the uk spec one. as there a always sti being split for spares.

Injectors.... what are they and do they need to be change as well. sorry for the chimp question!

Maybe i should have just brought an STI in the first place doh

You'd probably be better off getting your exhaust decatted and a remap first (could see up to 280bhp). When you start fiddling with turbo's it starts to get expensive!

NS04

PS you don't want a bang!!

Fit an STI ihi VF35 and you'll be at 320-330bhp at 1.25bar.
The VF35 has the best spoolup. I've had at 2850rpm 1.0 bar and full boost at 3100-3200rpm.I ran it with an exhaust header, FMIC,walbro fuelpump at 1.5 bar and managed 365bhp, but eventualy knackered my gearbox.........twice
