Sti V2 gearbox and Diff into Uk99
Looking to upgrade my uk spec box. Will a sti V2 plus the diff be a direct fit.
Is there any evidence that these boxes are stronger than the uk ones.
Anyone please

not a straight forward swap........................the 'box will go in but you would need to install the UK front diff ration and the UK centre diff to be compatible...................
the other way of doing it is to install the matching rear diff from the V.2

My box has 4.4 diffs (normal v2 has 4.1 diffs) so i had to change the rear diff at the same time.
It runs 330bhp/320lbsft all day long but i have only had it in for about 1000 miles so far. Time will tell but harvey ran the exact same setup in his actual v6 for many thousands of miles with his 585bhp.
