Improving Air Flow?
Has anyone else noticed that there is a rubber seal along the front edge of the bonnet, that forms a seal right across the front of the standard air intake?
Obviously removing this is going to improve the airflow, but can anyone see any problems in doing this?
My main fear is too much air getting under and it lifting the bonnet.
Thinking about just removing the piece directly in front of the ram air scoop.

mmmiddy,
Been there.....Done that
Don't worry about lifting the bonnet, hasn't effected mine at 150mph+
Cheers
Martin
Edited to say........ I removed mine after fitting an induction kit within the engine bay to help the cold air feed. TBH didn't see any noticable deduction in intake temps
