Default Other Ecus For uk Turbo`s ,

what kind of other ecu`s from subarus can i use in a my98 uk turbo , as its kind of got me thinking when i seen on ebay a seller , selling an ecu out of a wrx sti , and he put , upgrade your uk turbo ecu with the Sti Ecu ,

is this actually possible Doing ,

all i thought you could put in was the usual Remappabe ones`s ,,,,, apexi etc etc ,
Prodrive ,

what is the cheapest ecu to put in to increase Boost and power , with i,e mods , Blitz nur spec Exhaust , Will soon have downpipe , when i decide which , oh and filter on its way , green or blitz , i will tend to go with blitz more than likely , when i order this afternoon

mods to come uprated fuel pump , can buy anytime really , tmic off sti if they fit , maybe some injectors , if i find some at the right price , with my car i dont want to hit the 300bhp mark id be happy with 270bhp and a good boost setup

You can get an Apexi ecu, cost about 700 mapped and fitted iirc.

The limiting factor will be the turbo (TD04) as it probably wont flow much more than 280bhp. As you only want 270bhp then that shouldnt be a problem. Fuel pump is must for safety and uprate your hoses so they can handle the increased boost.
