Default Cat pipe & centre section

evening all, just recieved my cat pipe and centre section from scoobyworld its the afterburner bits, looking at the cat pipe is has a nut welded to the pipe as if to hold a sensor , talking to folk on here the advise i was given was no CEL fix was needed as this is only required in decatting the downpipe. is this a fixing point or a connector for sensor which i should get from the existing removed cat pipe?.

the car is an sti type uk my04 btw

regards
fergie

There should be a sensor on your original pipe, swap it into the new one.....
