boost problems with backbox?
Hello,
I want to fit a Hayward/Scott backbox and know that my car has been superchipped. People don't seem to trust this way of raising boost but it's on my car, hasn't let me down, so I really don't want to remove this.
So my question is: will fitting a new backbox (currently standard) give problems with boost settings or other problems or can I just go along and order one?
Thanks,
Bash

IIRC from previous posts, changing the backbox per se shouldn't cause any problems. Decatting other components of the exhaust as well may be an problem though, as it can cause passive increases in boost pressure which might compound any issues with the superchip! Again, best to take it to a specialist for advice.
All the best.
