Default afterburner system

im looking for an exhaust for my classic wrx, i know someone that has a full system from downpipe to backbox including decat - the afterburner (not the new vortex one but the one before) - has anyone got this?
i really want to know how it sounds(too loud etc) and also ive been told that it will increase the bhp by a fair bit but will need to get the ecu mapped/chipped - any info would be appreciated!

This exhaust gives a lovely deep burble. It's loud, but not as loud as blitz etc on tickover.
But on Full chat its awesome.
Get the full system and it pops/bangs and shoots big flames!!
