Wink "Kingpin GT35R sneak peek" ( nasioc.com link )

Including good response from Pavlo to this

'I placed an email and a call to our contact at Garrett. This contact is the one that told us to construct the end tanks in this manner. Here is the email back from him:

"haha. yeah, we hear that here and there also.
its a pressurized system, so the complete intercooler is fully pressurized. flow is not a factor at this point. ... " '

I would like to add

"haha. yeah, I now believe that this pressurised system does not involve flow, my belief been confirmed by both Santa and the Tooth Fairy"

it looks like a great setup for a LHD car. If you live in mainland europe your options are good for this sort of thing.

Unfortunate that these well priced kits cannot be applied to RHD, custom fabrication erodes the price advantage

some of us have been using GT35's for a while.. Paul dont you just wish we had that much room for exhausts... brings back memorys of making an exhaust with samco bends, cardboard and masking tape!

If those samcos had been the high temps versions things could have been so different.

Understood, but not many people have the ability and determination to work out a new application

I was looking for a bolt on Garrett kit, and found little information about cost, availability, and if there was any worthwhile performance advantage over established alternatives

I did look at http://www.lateralperformance.com/ again, which remains as only a placeholder site, and post here asking for information GT2871R and GT28RS, which I had seen on http://www.atpturbo.com/

Unfortunately I did not get any responses at the time, so I went for a Deadbolt "Monster" TD05-16G with ceramic coat, avoiding the need for other changes in the turbo installation

Mark deals in the real world rather than the virtual, you would need to contact him either via e-mail or by telephone to discuss your needs...and beleive me it's worth talking to him, he knows far more about these things than he will ever post on here or 22b
