Sccobynut:

You need to read-up on the car a bit.
The way the engine block is designed is totally different to the Main Stream engines you may be used to.
The Haynes book on Impreza ownership is a good book!

You talkin' about the book by Chris Rees? Well worth the money, though a big section on common problems and fixing stuff would have been more useful.
