Question Headers and Up-pipe

Some advice/experience please?

Thinking of going for some aftermarket headers and up-pipe for my UK MY99. Already got decat system and downpipe.

Is this a good mod to go for? Long term, reliability etc.

Good BHP/Torque increase?

Increase in sound?

Heard this thing about wrapping the headers?

Thanks guys.

RB5:

I think there are better things to do to your engine before headers.
Have a good read of Carl's thread on the Projects section and if you like, mine on bolting on 380 bhp.
Carl has been through all this and the results are proof enough, power/torque without headers.
you may be better with flowed stock cast headers.
If you want a noise change, then equal length headers will do that for you.
You can get these from all the big dealers such as TSL/RCM/RC Developments etc.
Go to the Scooby Shop and search there. (I think Andy F is selling some now, or tyr API Engines)
