Default Knock sensor torque setting?

Anyone know what the torque setting should be for the Knock Sensor.
Came across a thread on Scoobynet that mentioned some of the US scooby forums found the Knock sensor was sometime overtightened at the factory. Which could cause the hestation problem.

Undid mine and did it back up eventually but the torque setting would be useful.

I actually broke a 1/4" drive extension piece attemting to undo it so it must have been tight. Or a LOT of threadlock

I had this problem to, It was tighter than a crabs A**se at 50 fathoms. I actually had to replace my sensor because it was knackered and telling my engine to back off when in fact no knock was present. I couldnt find torque settings for it so not wanting to break the new sensor that subaru robbed £94 from me for, and not wanting it to be too loose, I followed the brute force and ignorance rule that there are two kinds of tight.
1. Tight!
2. F***in tight!

I chose to tighten it up tight. It has given me no trouble and reads true.

All the best for the New Year.
