Default MY02 3" exhaust from the Turbo back

Advice please

Just toying with the idea of changing my exhaust from the turbo back with a full 3" system (presently a mix of H&S, TSL and magnex).

MY02 Bugeye with a TD05 plus usual mods and *cough* asked Andy F to reserve a Deadbolt 18G when they land in the UK

Thanks

Replacing my 2.5" H&S DP/Magnex center/H&S BB with a H&S 3" DP with splitter and HKS 3" exhaust had an effect even with a lowly f/e TD05, boot held better at the topend and it required more fuel to maintain my desired AFR.

However, I am not convinced that the power gains are that significant.

Looks like there'll be a few 18Gs around in the new year

Thanks Andrew

Thinking about what Bob has on his STi9 I think it might be a BRD / janspeed downpipe I'll ask Bob for his opinion as hopefully he will agree to plug his laptop into my ECU again

Shaun

WRX Rich.... I worry about the gearbox and clutch as well. do API have courtesy cars ????

We have a fabulous Nissan Primera with 230,000 miles on it that we loan. It makes your Subaru seem like a car from another planet when you get your car back from us. All part of the plan
