First it was zinc *****, now magnets....whatever next?

I should think few Subs in the boot next to the fuel tank would have the same effect

But there are testimonials and an animated diagram showing exactly how it works.

It must work!

I don't know if it will have the same effect on my car but I give it a try!

I had one on my old Wrx Wagon, It did actually make a difference. Reduced knock and more miles to a tank.

"...patented Neodymium super conductors..." - WOW cool! a room temperature superconductor!!!!!!!! Pity the rest of the scientific community hasn't caught on to this yet.....

"...it generates the specific resonance frequency..." - ah so its an oscillating permanent magnetic then, and great how they get the resonance tuned spot on to a mix of chemicals like petrol...

"will fracture the hydrocarbon chains" - cool!! so a magnet will crack the petroleum down then, wait til the oil companies find out that they dont need to expensively heat their cracking towers anymore, loads of cheap petrol for all!

What a load of fecking drivel

Interesting as this one:
http://www.fuel-max.com/english/detail_2.htm
I wonder, who to believe?
Although have seen my self an increase in miles per tank in a friends car and this remains the same after 10K+ miles from installation.
I just bought two "super fuel max" and I'll keep informed if they do what they claim!

There's a much cheaper and more effective solution. Get a small block of wood, attach it securely to the underside of the throttle pedal, so that only 5 - 10mm of travel is permitted.

Guaranteed improvement in fuel economy. The only downside is that some drivers have reported a small loss in available performance

AFAIK you can't ionise anything with what looks lot like a simple permanent magnet. It's just a signal lead choke in a heavy duty case. And ionising organic molecules like petrol needs a lot more than that.

Years ago, I tried a similar magnet device called 'Ecoflow' on my old Triumph Acclaim, and it made no difference - so I don't think the 'fuelmax' will be any different. There was even a study done by scientists that said the results were inconclusive.

If it were that simple, manufacturers would surely be factory fitting something along these lines in a bid to make cars use less petrol - thus being more competitive. Let's be honest, if Subaru could claim their Impreza turbo models were suddenly 27% more economical, this would be a major marketing coup.

I'll give it a try and if it saves me even less than 10% fuel worthwhile (IMO).
Otherwise you'll see it on E-bay "ready to fit - half the price" .

see this is how they survive. Despite all the evidence to the contrary, people still buy them....
