PPP for 2001 WRX (New Age)
Guys,
For the new age Impreza WRX did Prodrive continue to fit both a new rear box and centre section? I've got the rear box but not the centre. If the centre was fitted does anyone know the part number, also does anyone know of an equivilant part from haywood and scott or similar. PPP owners your comments would be useful, cheers!

The UK exhaust has a two part centre section. The part nearest the d/pipe has a cat in it on the std WRX. The PPP replaces it with a decat length, but has the lamdba sensor retained.
Here's the US details and it shares the part number over here in the UK.

H & S and others have thier own version of this but I'm not sure they have a boss for the sensor, so a CEL fix also has to be bought.

yep...
did the above to my MY02 wagon - Xtreme Scoobies sorted it al out.
In fact they had H&S specially manufacture a resonated centre that replaced the cat and keep the noise minimal
I was well pleased

I just changed mine for an H & S item. As far as I can see the only diff with the Prodrive one is that it has an additional bracket so you can put the heatshield back on, the aftermarket ones don't bother with that.
