Default WRX RA - what sort of Diff?

what sort of centre/rear diff setup does a WRX RA (my95) have? i know they dont have a DCCD but heard they would perform the same as DCCD car 'stuck' in OPEN mode? i.e can they doughnut?

they are as standard uk car, open front, viscous rear, viscous centre

you could probably donut one with some determination, easily possible in the wet.

could i fit a type R 'plated' diff to the rear to make a bit more tail happy ?

or any other mod to achieve this?

plated rear diff would help, dccd is the way to really do it, or a Cusco tarmac centre diff
