Re-fitting of turbo (UK MY96)
As it was MOT time again I had to change the downpipe over but two of the nuts had siezed on the studs. After spending all day I managed to remove the nuts using a nut splitter but I have damaged the threads. In the end I decided to take the turbo off so that I had good access to remove the damaged studs and replace them.
I am now in the positon of re-fitting the turbo and was looking for some advice.
First do I just connect the oil fittings back on, or is there any particular procedure I need to follow ?
Also as I have broken into the cooling water circuit I know I will have to bleed the system. Do I bleed it at the turbo or is there any other way for this to be done ?
Any advice will be appreciated
Cheers
Gavin
