Gearbox options MY00
What are the best options available to me on a UK MY00, I currently have the 5th gear nut problem and as im upgrading to a TD05FE, plus front mount etc...... I wanted to know what other options are available. Also what other changes need to be made. eg. diffs etc?

Yes, but they are also prone to failure - although not as frequently as Euro cars. Basic problem on the 5MT's is casing flex IMO. 6MT fixes this, definitively 
You can also buy assorted uprated gearkits for the 5MT, and some have no problems with them. One I bought came from a bad batch it seems, and failed shortly after fitting. I'd recommend a 6MT every time for hassle free and cost effective use - even though I would prefer 5 gears to 6.
