In the middle of doing a full decat and i cant get the heat sheild off, i have undone all the bolts but the shield seems to be welded together on one side, so i cant get it from around the dpipe. Has anyone come across this before?

Do you mean the turbo heat shield? Are you sure you've got ALL of the bolts out? it's very easy to miss one.

I had to take the intercooler off too and the driverside intercooler mount bracket - it made heat shield removal so much easier.
