Question Magnex on WR1 or not?

Hi All

Do you think it would be an advantage to change the exhaust on my WR1 to a Magnex system that I had on my STi8 which consists of a 6"x4" oval back box and a centre section that removes the first CAT?

I really miss that Scooby rumble I had with the STi8 if not the Magnex then any other make? has anyone changed theirs yet and what does Subaru think about doing this could it void the warranty?

Subaru could, and have done in the past void your engine warranty buy replacing any part of your exhaust system. The person in question replaced exactly what you are looking at doing, although many many people have done this mod.
I personally think that was heavy handed by Subaru, and still to this day I don't think the replacement parts had anything to do with the failure.

Looking at the PPP fitment on the STi's I think the centre section on the WR1 might only a resonator and not a cat but I may be wrong.

whatever one you get, try and get your subaru dealer to fit it for you, and get an invoice stating the fact, just incase there is any comeback!
