TD05 or VF35, which is best?
I think my next move maybe modding the Turbo but i cant seperate the pros and cons of either the TD05 or VF35 turbos?
The TD04 (oem bugeye wrx) does seem a little lightweight but then again it is a lively little thing and i cant abide excessive lag so i'm looking for something maybe a little stronger and can hold full boost a bit better.
Not sure of the difference between VF34 or 35 can anyone point this out?
TIA
Pete

If looking towards 350 BHP get the VF34. It has a larger exhaust housing. I think the VF35 would be as pushed at 350 BHP as a TD04 is at 300 BHP.
Better still get a TD05, you know how I love these things, but they are becoming a victim of their own success and difficult to get hold of. The TD05 exhaust side is just fantastic, plus the compressor is very competent indeed.

I'd go for the TD05
Mappers seem to have them sussed and the supporting mods needed seem well sorted.
Not much difference in where the boost comes in compared to a TD04 but it just keeps on going
I'm running 325BHP (Well Lane) on my Bugeye WRX and Ninnybobs down the road is at 370 ish on his. Both daily drivers !!

Wasn't being sarcy, maybe it only saves the search for a while
Did bring up some good old threads.
TD05 is a gearbox eater if used properly, so leave them all to me, you wouldn't want them muhahahaha, I could use one on each bank some day
