Default URGENT - Bleed Valves

On a MY01 WRX with a Prodrive ECU, decat centre and afterburner backbox, good or bad?? is my engine going to blow if it's allowed 16psi??? bet this is in the wrong thread as well.....

booked in for this afternoon, guy says that it's perfectly safe but thought I'd ask your expert opinions,

LOL, you've really got the modding bug now haven't you

Is it a Dawes that you're having fitted?

My limited understanding is that a bleed valve allows the car to come "on full boost" earlier through the revs and raise the boost.

I know you've got some guages to go on, I wouldn't recommend a lead foot until they're fitted so at the very least you can make sure that you're not running too much boost.

Not sure how much 17psi is. My car runs safely on 1.25bar (Peaks at 1.3-1.4 in 4th and 5th). No doubt someone will be along to covert into PSI.
