Default Clunking Noise from rear - Classic STi

Hi peeps,
hope u can help - My STi 4 4-door is making a sort of clunking noise from the back end when you turn the steering either way.... think its coming from the rear diff/axle
Has any1 had this problem before..? what can it be and most importantly how much 2 repair...?
To describe its like a a diff lock is ON like on the 2 door TYPE-R's..... only mine is a 4 door with no Diff lock switch.

Cheers

yeah mate i had this problem on my WRX and it turned out to be the bushes on the anti - roll bar - very common problem and cheap to fix but mine only cluncked when i went over a bump and not with the steering!

hope this helps in some way!
