G/box vibration???

Unhappy G/box vibration???

Have strange vibration coming from g/box on my MY00 Turbo in first and second, anyone help?
Only happens on low revs up to about 3k!

hi i get the same sort of noise in every gear when its in a low rev sounds like a rumbling noise coming from the diffs but im not sure! hope someone here can help you

Have you checked the oil level ??? Dipstick at the side of the Top Mount, If ok try changing the oil for a good quality semi synthetic 75 /90 grade, may improve things but possibly sounds bearing related

Had something similar on my MY99. Turned out to be near where the downpipe and centre section meet it was knocking against a bracket.

When up on the ramps and revved to about 2800 - 3000rpm you could stop it by sticking a screwdriver in between the pipe and the bracket and moving it slightly.

Sorted by bending the bracket slightly to the side.

Hope its something that simple
