Default Lubricant for Type RA Diffs

I have been looking at various Threads about Lubricating Subarus with interest. The thread by oilman was most enlightening.
However, the "word on the street" is that the Type RA/R differentials are different as as such should not follow the normal advice.
Has anybody heard anything concerning this, and got any advise rather that the normal "I use XXXXXXX and its good". Why is good and what technical reason did you choose it?

Mike
