has anyone had one of these???
i seem to have developed a flat spot between 4200 and 5200 revs .
Does anyone have any sugestions>
ps. it's a 02 bugeye with some minor mods

Si, it may be something as simple as a cracked spark plug.
I had a few probs a whilst back around about the same point in the rev band and it turned out to be a hairling crack in one of my coils. Now seen as the newer YM`s dont have individual coils (correct me if i`m wrong) the next item in the line of ignition is either an HT lead which is starting to break down electrically (which IMHO isn`t very likely) or a faulty plug which was the source of a few of my problems. Without being more specific (as to what upgrades you`ve done) it`s hard to determine the source of the problem, hey it may be something as simple as your hitting fuel cut or pre set boost limit
