Wink Oil change & crank sensor question

Hi all
I have just completed my first oil change as per the instruction reiterated on here many times. However, on disengaging my crank sensor (which I assume is the one just by the timing marks above the front pully) I noticed that there is an electrical connection spade just hanging.
The wire that the 'spade' in question is on is the same length as the crank sensor and the wire is linked to the crank sensor wire about 3 inches away from the crank sensor plug/spade connector.
There is a small blade with a spade connector on already about 4 inches behind the crank sensor, but I can't find another blade that would take this 'spare' spade connector.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Hope the explaination is clear, as it makes perfect sense to me
Cheers
