Default Revs VS Clutch wear?

What sort of revs can I give MY03 WRX without wrecking the clutch? I am sick of the car bogging down. Only want 20k out of clutch...
The car is standard at present.
Will 4,000 rpm launches fry the clutch inside 20k miles?
What about 5,000 rpm?

I'm talking about dry roads here...

I'd like to know too. I hate the boggy feeling when pulling away from standing. Load of bo11ocks and about the only thing I don't like about the car.

Won't launch it all the time, but would like to know a 'safeish' revs and also recommendations for smooth takeoffs to avoid the bog.

I drive mine hard. I have got to 20000 miles this week and no sign of clutch wear so far.

I usualy launch it at 5000rpm maybe a bit more now and then.

Wink

I drive like a ***** and had the clutch replaced on my STI8PPP at 22000 miles so maybe I should try more 5K launches. Stinks like hell when I do that though!

MY01 with 47k in the clock

I have done at least 10 RWYB days at Elvington Airfield which will be about 100+
5000+ revs launches.

Still on original clutch

Cheers

Martin (12.85 secs 1/4 mile)

wrx03 here running bout 280hp. have launched mine at around 5000 bout a dozen times. Car has 23 000 kms and I think the clutch is on its way. Pick up is really high and its impossible to drive the car smoothly.

What is defenitive sign of clutch wear for the scooby and how long can it go like that?

also could pls recommend a nice replacement as Subaru in my country are charging me a fortune for the original parts.
