Vf23 up pipe to turbo porting questions
i have just got my vf 23 turbo houseing back from being restudded and i have noticed that the joins between the up pipe and the turbo and not very good
the black ring is all soot and stuff, i plan to port this to make it smoother
my questions are, what exactly will this do for me, will this make the turbo spool faster?
or will it spool lower in the rev range?
will it make much diffrence at all or is it neglible?
to port it, i belive i have to use a tungsten carbide cutter or simmiler, can these be used with a simple electric drill or do i need one of these fancey air powerd things (i havnet got one)
will 1 cutter be fine or will i need a few of them, and how far upwards should i port , i gather a smooth as possible gradiant would be best?
thanks
