HKS SSQV Adjustment
Just bought a secondhand HKS SSQV.
Excellent condition but came with no instructions - fitting was straightforward.... but my question is.....
There appears to be an adjustment on the backend - can anyone shed any light on what this does and how best to adjust it?
As this is a 2 stage BOV I assume it might be to control when the 2nd stage occurs??
Is adjustment purely for audio purposes or can it affect the turbo?
Any advice appreciated.
BTW it's a great sound, and really lets you hear how hard the turbo is working.
Rob.

Are you referring to the screw at the back? Adjusts the spring I think but was told to leave well alone as its already set to the optimum setting for the car. If you do a search on the Group buy thread for the HKS SSQ there was quite a discussion about changing the sound. Obviously you can buy the different inserts although these seem to be a bit of a con as I certainly noticed no real difference.
Think we need a techie answer to this dont we mate?
