Unhappy HELP NEEDED!!!!

I have got a full HKS 3" de-cat system and it is mot time. I have bought a catted centre section to get my car through but during the swap I had the not so pleasent sight of the catted centre section being 4" too short. Not only that but the holes didn't line up either.

Now, I am thinking that inorder for me to fit the centre section I am going to have to get a standard backbox to make up the extra length.

Is this right and if so is there anyone in the Watford area who has got one I could borrow?

Martin

It is right that you will need a standard length backbox.

other option is to try and find a friendly MOT centre in your area...... i'm sure there would be one

I have the same setup and yes you need a standard fit bb and a donut [no jokes please] to go between the catted centre and downpipe.

Whats a donut when it is at home. I fitted the centre section to the downpipe with no probs it was just too short to reach the back box. Would I need one of these donuts or would it all fit with just the backbox?

The 'Donut' is the gasket which goes between the Oem center and downpipe. You will need an Oem Backbox as the HKS B/B will only fit the HKS centre.
