Default where is the lambda sensor?

looking at my MY00, right behind the turbo on the exhaust is a brown sensor thats plugged in with 3 wires. Is this the lambda sensor?

if thats the case, whats the best way to get access to it to fit a new one?

cheers

Sound's like thats your lambda sensor.
Simply unplug the connector and use a 22mm spanner to remove the sensor.
If you need extra room, remove your i/c but you really shouldn't need to, quick 2min job

Mine was a bitch to remove. Couldn't be arsed to remove the intercooler, so ended up jacking up the car and doing it from beneath. Then managed to burn my hand on the exhaust (no patience to wait for it to cool), as I couldn't see what I was doing... along with a few scratches and bruises for good measure... ended up wishing I'd removed the intercooler. Hindsight. Wonderful thing.
