how much power does a standard clutch and my93 ra gearbox take before it gives up

It's not as simple as that.
Very hard standing starts, or excessive slipping on take off will do for it very quickly.
Gentle the opposite!
As to the 'power' thing, it is more the torque rating of the clutch. If your RA is stock, you are careful with the starts, that clutch will last.
If in doubt, get it out and fit an AP organic on a re faced flywheel..........and have all the fun you want (the gearbox will be the next worry............)
