Any ideas ??
AYTY754CN188 is the part no that i need to match on the gearbox
THis is what i need ,apparently a RB5 gearbox gearbox is different, even though one from another scooby will fit ,it will kill the diff .This has been confirmed by Prodrive aswell .Its gonna cost lots for a rebuild.
Where am i ever gonna find one ,think my scooby will be sitting still for a while .
Cheers mouse

RB5 is just a tarted up UK scoob, any box from a UK classic will fit (I think early boxes have an issue with the starter fitment though, easily fixed with a Rawl bolt ...)
You should have a 3.545:1 ratio rear diff.
You need 1.1:1 drop gears in the box to match.

Never heard of CN188 UK boxes are VN and then maybe 1 B B I have a comparison chart at the works that tells what will fit what easily.
If I can help call me.

'Tarted up' is a bit off !! I'd call it a bit more like ' tastefully altered '
